Mobile

Mevo’s service is accessed via best-in-class mobile apps. These are provided for iOS and Android mobile operating systems, and allow Members to:

  • Apply for and complete the details required for a Mevo account.
  • Browse and locate vehicles that they may wish to to use.
  • Reserve, lock, and unlock a vehicle during a rental - the Mevo Apps use Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) to communicate with a rented vehicle when outside mobile signal.
  • Manage their billing, receipts, etc.

Mevo does not operate any other access methods for vehicles (e.g. swipe card etc).

Using the Apps

Use of Mevo’s vehicles is always performed through the Mevo Apps. As such, many API use-cases culminate in handing off the customer via Universal Links, so that the customer can proceed to unlock and use the vehicle in the Mevo App.
